Turlough graduated as a physical therapist from the Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science. Shortly after graduating, Turlough registered on the Physiotherapists Registration Board of Ireland under CORU. He gained further clinical experience while completing his masters degree in the school of medicine at the National University of Ireland Galway. Turlough was then awarded a PhD scholarship in rehabilitative medicine while working full time in a busy private practice in Limerick.
Before graduating as a physical therapist, Turlough worked as a personal trainer and class instructor. This is where he found his love for exercise and rehabilitation. Improving people’s quality of life through exercises and functional training gave him the drive to pursue a career as a physical therapist. Turlough has worked with countless patients in multiple settings, gaining extensive clinical experience with each client. His training and education has allowed him to provide the best evidence based care to his patients.
In his spare time, Turlough loves to go remote hiking, outdoor exercise training and cycling.
