Seán graduated from Athlone IT with a BSc. Athletic Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2018 and from Queen Margarets University, Edinburgh with an MSc. Physiotherapy in 2023. Seán has experience working with various athletes, neurological patients, and musculoskeletal conditions. On returning to Galway from Edinburgh, Seán secured a role as an academy physiotherapist for Connacht Rugby in 2023 and 2024. Seán has worked with many clubs around Galway in Gaelic Games and rugby since obtaining both his degrees. He currently works on the physiotherapy team for the Galway Senior Men’s Football Team as well as working in West Coast Physio.
Seán is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love doing. He takes a patient-centered approach to treatment, creating an individualised and evidence-based treatment plan for his clients based on the causes of injury and presentation of symptoms. Seán uses his background in sports to help athlete’s return to their pre-injury levels of performance. Seán spends much of his free time training and playing sports. He has a keen interest in hurling and Gaelic football.
