Athletic Trainer and Physiotherapist
Whilst completing a Bachelors in Athletic Training & Therapy at DCU, Ferdia built up experience working with sports teams and athletes across Wolverhampton, Dublin, and Wicklow. A Master’s in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences followed at KU Leuven in Belgium, where clinical experience with patients of all ages and experiences furthered insight into not only exercise rehabilitation but manual therapy too. This has led to a more complete approach to patient-care.
With a particular interest in recreating sport and activity-related demands in rehabilitation, Ferdia’s ambition of treatment is for it to be personalised to the patient’s current and future goals and demands.
Outside of work, Ferdia enjoys playing table tennis and badminton. He also enjoys walks in the countryside and following the League of Ireland.
